Our Mission and Vision

The mission of Hope XPress Community Church is to: (1) Declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the Hope of Glory for our lives; (2) Disciple Believers through teaching and spiritual development; and, (3) Develop the Beloved Community through service to others.

At Hope XPress Community Church we are “Serving Atlanta communities, reaching to World"

Our vision is that Hope XPress Community church will be a gathering place of Hope, and a spiritual resource, through which the Gospel of Jesus Christ will transform peoples and communities worldwide

 

It is our duty to fulfill Gods command. We understand that God has placed in front of us a plan of action that we need to stay the course on. We believe that we need to step outside the church walls to reach the lost and broken. God has called for our church to fellowship together, and to go and preach his word. We hope that you will join us in growing together and reaching those who need to hear about Jesus. We are gifted with very important work. Let's do our very best to accomplish what God has in store for our ministry.

What We Believe

 

We believe that the goal of the church is to disciple men, women, and children to follow Jesus Christ and reach their fullest potential

 

We believe in the triune God existing in three equal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of the universe and is infinite, immutable, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever present, and is not limited by time or space.

Jesus Christ

 

Jesus is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin through the shedding of His blood. He was fully God and fully human. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. At a date undisclosed in Scripture, Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth in power and glory for the second time to establish His Kingdom.

The Holy Spirit

 

Every person on the planet Earth has a soul inside the body that will be soon released. The Holy Spirit is spectating from Heaven and give us more energy to continue our ministration.

Sin

 

A human being is guilty, starting from the own day of birth. Sin is a part of our life that we are ready to redeem. Thanks to the love of God, we will definitely succeed and join him at the end of our life.

Salvation

 

God created us in His image as the Apple of His Eye. Though we were created to commune with Him and be His representative on earth, we failed God through disobedience and sin. However, because of the love He had for us, God sent Jesus to redeem from the penalty of sin all who would believe in Him. The sacrificial redemptive work of Jesus Christ is the only way through which salvation and communion with God can be obtained.

The Bible

 

Atlanta is one of the great cities of the world! God has opened a window of opportunity for this church to carry out His Will in the communities of this great City and throughout the World. As we honor God’s calling, we know that “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” (1 Thessalonians 5:24 – NASB).

Discipleship

 

It is the duty and privilege of every follower of Christ to become a disciple-maker, endeavoring to make disciples of all nations. To honor this great commission, one must first become a true disciple of Jesus Christ and grow in grace, wisdom and obedience. The new birth of our spirit by God’s Holy Spirit means the birth of love for others. Missionary efforts on the part of all rests thus upon a spiritual necessity of a regenerate life and is expressly and repeatedly commanded in the teachings of Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ has commanded the preaching of the gospel to all nations. It is the duty of every child of God to seek constantly to win the lost to Christ by verbal witness and wholesome Godly relationships undergirded by a Christian lifestyle, and by other methods in harmony with the gospel of Christ.

Service to others

We believe that our faith must be demonstrative in love and action. Love is not just what you say, but what you do. At Hope XPress Community Church, we will devote a large portion of our time, talent, and treasures to service to others as we minister the gospel of Jesus Christ to them.

Family

 

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composted of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
